Stickguy Said I Should Ramble About This…

Title says it all, now, to talk about what exactly?
The site’s (and in general Internet’s) ability to ignore things.

Someday sometime whenever awhile ago me and stickguy had a conversation about how he could post a meme of TBOSN and it receives a lot of attention, and then when if he were to post something with a bit more effort: it’s just not as… liked or engaged with,

I gotta be honest guys, this is the kinda thought that’s been on my mind for a long time, and I know for a fact we’re not the only two to wonder WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THAT??
I better not get ahead of myself and crash out here but I would be lying if I said that didn’t piss me off at least a little bit. But still! What’s the big deal?

Sometimes it can be… irrelevant, or something being worded weirdly or having odd context, but sometimes it’s so hard to pinpoint a reason it drives me crazy!
And other times it could be the best animation you’ve ever seen, or a figure someone spent hours on, and it can still get overlooked!

And it really does make you wonder, if your not already popular here (as in been here pre 2020 or so) or are not really-really fuckin talented, then what’s the point? I’m not saying me and stickguy thought about giving up but I just feel like that’s the conclusion many people come to, they just give up! And that’s sad to see.

Now, what was the point of this post? To… figure out what you all think of this phenomenon. Maybe to get an answer we could all agree on… I don’t know, i figured it could be a good conversation.
Also seeing if we’re not alone with this.
