oxygen is actually toxic
over time, it slowly oxidizes your cells, so, in short terms, it’s technically lighting you on fire, very very slowly.
and also, if there weren’t any other chemicals (nitrogen, argon, CO2, etc.) in the air, and only oxygen, we would die.
