his eye isn’t some sort of corruption, it’s just his in universe version of chronic conjunctivitis and it changes color depending on the season (spring-summer = a dark-ish red with a black-maroon ring around the eye, october/autumn = EVIL, and winter = a bright cyan with a deep blue ring around the eye.)
