Dark Ages has the most addictive design, the cape and helmet add a lot. I was never a fan of Eternal’s armor, the colors are weird, though the blade on his arm was a great touch (saw shield is better I admit). Praetor suit is nostalgic ofc, 2016 was the only game I played when it came out, good times.
It helps that in DA the Slayer’s face is somewhat feasible. He looks like a real person, albeit still with the expression of rage. Eternal’s Slayer looked so goofy I couldn’t stand it, I know a lot of people say “his helmet wore his face” but I think they just tried to model the original too hard without any regard for pixel readjustment.
Replying to:ULTIMUS482 (more bisexual)why does the DOOMSLAYER need any protection?
need I remind y
Because he can still be harmed, and he can still die. He needs protection because even though he’ll simply go to hell when he dies and fight his way back to life, it’s a very inconvenient process if he’s doing something timely like saving Earth from the Icon of Sin.
Replying to:ULTIMUS482 (more bisexual)personally I like the eternal slayer the most
the 2016 slayer just looks really goofy
and the Dark ages slayer, well actually I don’t know what I like more about the eternal slayer, but it’s probably the spikes on his gloves and the knife on his arm
Replying to:ULTIMUS482 (more bisexual)also why does the 2016 slayer have sleeves
the Doomslayer do
Praetor suit was there before he had access to his fortress, and due to the English manuscripts on the plates of the armor, it’s suggested that it’s in some way mass-produced, presumably for marines without the slayer’s power. I’d guess he made the sleeveless edits to the Eternal suit later on (additionally creating the arm blade and such) as a callback to his Dark Ages armor. Maybe he was nostalgic lol

2016’s praetor suit by a long shot.
Eternal’s was cool, but I never liked the exposed forearms. Didn’t feel very armored.
I found the 2016 cosmetic in the fortress of doom and never looked back.
why does the DOOMSLAYER need any protection?
need I remind you he uses the guns for fun?
his fists are significantly stronger and more effective

also why does the 2016 slayer have sleeves
the Doomslayer does not need things such as “protection”
all he needs is to rip and tear until it is done
