So I’m going to do something I did a year or two ago. I recently read an old book by Michael Critchton called Sphere and my god was it good (besides a lot of misogyny). The only way I can summarize without giving too much information is: a team of scientists investigating a 300-year-old American spacecraft found on the Pacific Ocean floor (the ship came from the future because of course it did). They discover a alien sphere (I shut you not that’s how it’s refered in the book) inside that manifests their deepest, subconscious fears into reality. The survivors somehow erase their memories of the fact they have that extremely awesome power, and they leave the bottom of the ocean.
In total I give it a 7 Giant glowing squids out of ten, for that SHITTY ENDING and all the misogynistic quotes towards one of the only women down in the habitat and how poorly she was written.
