Eh automatons are like the only faction I can bare playing against
The bugs swarm you like its l4d2 and the squids just suck, they’re repetitive.
I hate the automatons
they’re hardest imo

botsCLANKERSI mean the automatons are moreso “Hey we see you we send squad”.
I usually run eagle airstrike, one support, 120mm and probably the mechs whenever but overall I find em fun.
Squids tbh need more variants
bih against the squids I could go in blindfolded on a super helldive with the liberator concussive and the redeemer, with the airburst rocket, ems strike, ems mortar, and the de-escalator and come out w/ 5 stars

Got any loadout tips for the illuminate? I usually bring eagle, orbital laser, the second mech and usually the expendable anti tank

Here’s my recommendation, hasn’t failed me once:
Trident, talon/senator, frags or thermites (I’d go frags for more grenades) gas strike (hear me out, if you call it down ON ANYTHING it will be destroyed, goes for side objectives too, and it’s great for crowd control too), orbital railcannon, 500kg and either the recoilless or quasar.
I’m a Level 32 Death Captain in game. Okay so the trident, I usually run the high explosive nades. Gas strike? Haven’t seen that on the bot front before. 500kg or orbital railcannon.

Gas is essentially a HUGE BULLET and oh yeah the enemies are dying of lung cancer too
