You probably don’t experience enough situations or circumstances where your compassion or real emotion is being questioned. It’s easy to assume that about yourself if you don’t really have the need to experience it, because of your lifestyle. That and if you don’t respect yourself enough or don’t believe in yourself enough, that’ll also influence it. I’m no expert, but I’m pretty certain that’d be why, since I felt the same way for quite a while when I was younger.
