@ralph
I have some questions about this new update that limits the size of projects we can open…
First question: If I can only open parts of an animation at one time, how am I supposed to export it?
Second Question: If I open the 2nd 50% of a project, add some frames, and then save it, will the first 50% still be there?
Thrid question:Is there a way to increase memory without spending money? Because I remember back when I could export 500 frame anims in 20 minutes, and noe I cant even OPEN 200 frame anims…
well first, you’re only supposed to use the “open percentage” thing if you’re actually having trouble/crashing when opening the project
I really can’t explain it clearer so I hope you understand:
if you open a project 50% from the start and save it, then open that same project 50% from the end and save it, you have TWO NEW projects completely unrelated to each other and unrelated to the original full project
then you can export each one separately, and either upload them to Youtube separately, or splice them together with a video-editing app

as for your 500 frame comment, you likely have a relatively low-memory device
frames aren’t necessarily the cause of memory consumption, NODES are
aka a 20-frame project with a simple 10-node stickfigure on each frame is SMALLER IN MEMORY than a 1-frame project with a 256-stickfigure on the one frame
20×10 = 200
1×256 = 256
you’re likely making animations with more complex figures now, so it’s eating up memory faster
