A major storyline in this AU (TF Rising) is Bumblebee is killed in combat while under training by Optimus Prime, which in turn led to Optimus blaming himself and regretted the fact that he let this young kid become a part of the Autobots, to fulfill his dream in becoming a hero to many.

Eventually though in the year 2024, Optimus became obsessed with the idea of finding one way or another to bring him back to life, leading up to the recent discovery of The Allspark, which was once believed to be nothing more than a legend that never really existed. He thought to himself that in one way or another he can bring Bumblebee back to life due to The Allspark’s magical ability to grant wishes (hopefully doesn’t end up in the wrong hands though) but such a wish is complicated since it’s blurring the line between life and death.
