Muuuuuch better, i like this. I can imagine it being an ambush predator so maybe some camo patterns or fake shrubbery. Just use the Galactic map to choose the indigenous planet (planets if it has been migrated)
Here are 3 possible planets
Nempharas
Kracknosis
Vallmand

Nempharas has black plants and is quite dark due to a constant presence of thunder storms.
Vallmund is a city/jungle world and Kracknosis is a city/wasteland world. they’d fit best on Kracknosis or Tryquilleea as Tryquilleea has red plants
I really want my alien to live on Nempharas.

it would need a drastic colour change, switching to dark colours and would need eyes and senses specialised for a dim, warm environment full of mild thunderstorms that regularly turn into lightingstorms
So dark blue skin, black teeth(venomous like a black mamba) and glowing eyes

It’s good as is, anything else would be counter productive.
A creature with jaws like that does not need a defensive weapon like spikes on the back or tail.
