It is true but unlike the scarf users, we have original ideas in a character, instead they just take any figure of a scarf, recolor it and give it powers to destroy an entire universe.
but most detailed designs right now are about some dude with a futuristic armory

You can probably asked Explosive Bullet about this trend, as beside Epitaph, he’s one of the most popular users around, and without the negative rep Epitaph has, he’s also way more respected
also, you make it look like scarf users are the scum of the earth when they’re just people, which is sad, really. and actually, not all scarf users are unoriginal / overpowered. sometimes, people add more details to scarf characters. for example, someone has an ice blue guy with a scarf, he has to wear the scarf or else he’ll get too cold, despite being an ice elemental, and etc.
dont refer to scarf users as scum, but just tell them they need improving in terms of character design.
scarves do not mean they’re generic. it’s just how they want to represent themselves.
The truth does not matter, I already stop insulting the scarves, I just do not like his designs and now.
A lot of people follow a majority rule when it comes to terms, the problem is the phrasing. If people were to go on a rant on why they hate scarf figs, a simple “Stereotypes have exceptions” could go a LONG way

You see that’s the thing, not many people use them yet.
As the concept hasn’t been around long and hasn’t gone mainstream, that means for now it is original, and people like Epitaph and Explosive Bullet are gonna ride that train till it dies.
