So far, the gist of the story is:
Ben, a blacksmith who lives in raiterra forest, is late for the first day of his new job of making duelist weaponry. On his way to his new job, he gets knocked out and kidnapped. He is then tested on by mysterious looking people. They were trying to turn him into a bionic weapon. Before his testing is complete however, he soon meets a new person who seems to have a bionic arm, who kicks him into a portal, trying to escape guards. They find themselves in a void, where the half bionic person explains to ben whats is going on, and then throws him into a portal that goes back to the same facility he was in. Ben then makes his escape and follows the half bionic man through the dessert, so that they can get close enough to teleport to Cier.
