So I suggest using it like that.

not realistic of course but that’s not rly what you’re going for with a MAGICAL GUN SWORD
Sorta. Though you’d have to work on the practicality if you wanted it to look like a sword and a gun at the same time.
The grip for the sword would be too thick. It would be awkward to aim with the reversed magazine. The trigger would easily slip.
Making hybrid weapons is hard. Seen people try them and even tried myself once. But I hope this can give you sort of direction on what to look out for next time.

Well that thing can be way simpler then-
Simply make the design more slim and portable. You can add some extras like gun rails. Shape plays very important role in it too. Bottom often needs to be specific shape to have an easy grip.
It’s meant to look similar to the sword though. Check my activity and then you’ll see it. I’m also working on lots of others too because it’s a MultiTool.
