Yo, i asked a Base Boi this once and he never replied (predictable) so I’ll ask you the same question.
How do you make animation this smooth and impactful while using tween? What FPS should i use and what’s a good way to ease myself into that style (i use 10FPS with 8 Tween)
Replying to:noobishi use 27 fps. i also try animating with pose to pose. if you
I know pose to pose, I don’t like it as much though as i like to animate in a way that what one character does will decide what the other does, to create much more unpredictable and realistic combat based on reactions rather than a neat script.
I’ll try out Pose to Pose again some time though.
As for 27FPS… OOF. Um, not sure how i could go from just 10 to 20. Damn.
Footing sucks

Try practicing with 15 fps and then advancing to 20 fps

What would you say is a good way to practice.
I don’t animate much, i prioritise making figs so I’m still a pretty average animator.
