Ok so first off, Fire is boring fam change fire to purple goo and call that ish purple stuff as a joke. Second give him more ninja shiz. I’m talkin mask, belt, etc. finally instead of mysterious change it to childish so he seems like a kid.

I’d say only take the design part into account.
You don’t need to tell him to swap out fire or his mysterious attitude because there’s no reason other than you yourself think it should be different.
If you want to change his abilities, you should modify them. If his abilities is purple fire, you could bring up that maybe that fire brings up toxic fumes around it instead of smoke. Maybe he has a split personality. So he switches between the mysterious one to something else.

If he were adding said poison abilies, maybe something like a gas mask or an oxygen tank on his back would look good, maybe some big black latex gloves.
