before someone #exposes me, incrementing download counters on stickfigures have been disabled for much of the day

this is why I didn’t upload more this afternoon else they’d all be at 0 forever lol

long story short it seems a big reason for the high traffic laggy and unresponsive website problems is due to the code that records and increments downloads/IP/date etc of files in the database

why?

dunno but the website been silky smooth today even with ~300-500 simultaneous online peeps
