@Ralph I decided to make a gif in Photoshop showing how Width thing would look like. In my opinion it would be not much for UI, also you could reset the “Width dynamics” (changed the name to make it sound better) with reset thickness as well. I think that feature could work in stickfigure editor as well.

Also a pic showing comparison of the segments with thickness of 50, 80 and Segment with 50 thickness and 30 width dynamics.

    • okay, I definitely understand it better

interesting concept, would be difficult with any type of complex stickfigures (vs just a stickfigure with 2 simple segment as an arm)

I’m impressed and confused as to how you made that gif though…it’s like you edited the app lol

Actually it could make some complex stickfigures simpler, one of the issues with making progresivelly thickening parts like for example capes was that it couldn’t be stretched. That way these elements would be stretchable and simpler to make.

When it comes to even more complex sticks it would be their fault for making it that complex, they aren’t even able to use stretch tool cause of it.

About the making that gif, I took tons of screenshots, edited some in photoshop then also used it to create the gif. I had animation lessons in my digital processes classes -w-

so I guess this really wouldn’t be feasible with anything other than segments and rounded segments?

I guess so? Speaking of segments, would be nice if there was an option to enable the rectangular segment to end up bit further (by amount of thickness). Would be useful for making precise squares and stuff. Example:

The reply limit is bit annoying but eh.

You know you don’t have to do every suggestion I make right? Lol. Feel bad for you suggesting so much, yet those are really helpful as well… It’s kind of hard thing suggesting stuff while also tolerating your work XD

    • I think this a good idea, I like the width thing most and would love it in the new update.

    • Pretty nice, this would be cool for some beam effects or other stuff. Also, thick.

Nah, Ralph won’t add this. He’s lazy with the app(and life)so he’s gonna ignore this…

Arcionek, Your not lazy! You should own stick nodes!

The problem is I can’t code. We are learning C++ yet have no idea how it works.
