some ios users still use old versions that dont play the animated gif in the photos app, im in iOS 12 now but theres still a few users that still use sn before the update that added gif viewing
after some research, iOS 9 users cant play gifs so i dont see why it should be removed yet as its still being supported
honestly this used to be my answer but now I think we’re approaching the time where if you’re using iOS 9…just…why
seems like the consenesus is about 2.5% of IOS users still have 9
