Though good start is to actually just look up 12 principles of animation.

Just like what arcionek said, find your own style, look what’s better for you, tweening or non-tweening, the best way to learn how to animate is by practicing, jusg keep doing what your doing and eventually you will get better
What is the part you struggle on the most ? For example:Walking animation?
