@ralph had silly thought but mayhaps even op idea. Controller support for SN? Cuz there are controllers that you can connect to phone. And I got one today.
I am mainly curious how much you’d be up to that idea, that way I could also work on UI redesign with idea for controller support as well as how users could animate using controller.






Ps. helps animating on small screens also relieves that cramping feeling of using such phones.
or even better, mouse support for ipadOS 🤑🤑🤑🤑

Ok ok fair point where you are saying about how apps have controller support so stick nodes should, but its an animation app not a game, navigating around with a controller sounds very tedious and gey.
I actually have concept in mind that can work better and be less tedious. It depends how the UI would be done etc.
Thats all well and good but whats the point of controller support, why not something more sensical and effective like keyboard, I just think it’s not worth the time.
Cuz keyboard isn’t gonna be sensical and effective-
how do you want to animate with keyboard-
You can press buttons to select certain options, with a controller it’s more difficult, have you ever navigated around somewhere like youtube with a controller? Its tedious and slow, keyboard is quick and has multiple buttons, also a mouse available.
You need keyboard AND mouse then. That’s the issue. Tho, if UI is designed with idea for mobile devices, consoles and so on it becomes actually good. Hecc, some things are better with controller than touch screen.
Remember I was trying to design new UI thingy?
If controller support was a possibility I could design it in a way it would be also comfortable to use on touchscreen and controller.

but we also need new UI, especially begginer friendly. I have people not knowing how to use the app on daily basis and imagine how many people there are that don’t even use social media.
So trying to come up with design that would just work. And controller thing is basically additional thing I would take into consideration.

last updated i wanted to add a tutorial – either some kind of interactive thing in the app, or a short youtube video

gotta be really short and to the point, quick simple “here’s how to add a figure”, “add a frame”, “make a new figure”, etc
Speaking of tutorials wanted to ask if during beta when there’s enough stable bulid I could do movieclip tutorials so people wouldn’t be as confused when it gets released-
