@ralph just gonna be that guy and make sure you haven’t overlooked some things with movieclips.
If he insert an X frame movieclip into animation, then delete the 1st frame of the animation project. Does the movieclip start at frame 2?
Or what if we start exporting animation/picture on 2nd frame where movieclip starts at 1st?
Rip if it doesn’t work and I basically found a bug before you even got to beta release.






the MC on frame 2 (now frame 1) will become the “origin” of that particular string of MC instances (determined by ID)
it keeps its internal “current frame” as 2, all following frames are unaffected
if you do actually want it to be 1, you can now change it’s “start frame” to 1 (only origin MCs have that property) and all following MCs will change accordingly

the MC is still on frame 2, so exporting from frame 2 onward doesn’t do anything
MCs are still per-frame objects, like stickfigures
this’ll make sense (kinda) soon
