impossibly impractical idea for an update that you’ll most likely ignore:

INCREASE AUDIO FILE CAPACITY TO 10MB FOR MUSIC SYNCED-ANIMATIONS
or something to lessen that file’s mb (along with quality lol)

    why?
cause my dumbass has been working on that animation you told me would be a feature and i want music syncs but i hate the effort of audio splicing even though i just started doing the project today.

(also @everyone pls bombard me with notifications with comments that are actually worth reading i’m lonely and this is my only way of fulfillment)

Why do you actually try to separate @ from everyone tho-

It’s actually account nobody uses lol.

(To the OP of the post)
Also people prob just gonna put heavy 20mb 3 second soud files because they don’t know what bitrate is. App usually crashes when it goes at 256mb or 512 memory use. Depending on the device.

So allowing music has it’s benefits… But also people complaining a lot about their app crashing and losing progress cause they went over their device limit.

There’s also one big problem for music. Desync. Massive one in fact. It gets bit problematic, especially for animations that are node intense of with a lot of filters.

Issue is also that if song starts at frame 1, you have to start playback at frame 1. Otherwise the entire project is silent. But if you play at frame 1 it’s obvious frame 80 won’t be in sync.

          huh, well there’s that
the more you know i guess
i mean idk who the heck would try a high node music-anim sync, that’s just insane
but some peeps manage it with adobe crash (lol), so maybe node users would find a way
also having music-sync determines how skilled you are with the app, so there’s that
i guess it’s back to audio splicing

    • “music” requires completely different ways of importing/handling if it were to come to stick nodes

it’s planned to, but I keep pushing it off because damnson-levels of work
