I feel ya so here is the solution:
Put all of your ideas in one story .
and yess its possible
But it wouldn’t make sense for a medieval style group to merge with a future style group
Just think about it, there are so many options
A) Time travel of the futuristic group
B) A huge war has caused isolation around the world and the newer generations have forgotten all the modern knowledge, just like the Roman Times. Some family didn’t die out and kept the knowledge to their own group and started a clan
