@jarmyanimations here’s what I created
you’re probably gonna submit this but i’m curious to see how this looks with the static nodes visible (aka in creation mode)
also since it’s pixel art and relies a lot on 90-degree angles to keep the “pixels” straight, do you rely on the “lock to axis” dragging when making nodes? or just copy-paste or what
Since these Are perfect Squares, you need to set their Angles to 45 degrees. If nessesary, I just use the “Flip X or Y axis” to move them without me touching them. This Fig is actually 4 figs connected together, one of the pieces having an invisible segment to attach all the other figs to make the WHOle thing move and rotate.
sorry if you’re lost, I’m bad at explaining things lmao. I am uploading this here so you can go knock yourself out with this fig.
also the names of the Figs have like Letters in the back like BR and TL.
TL and TR = Top-Left and Top Right
BL and TR = Bottom Left and Bottom Right.
nah thats cool
im gonna examine it when i get the pack to approve lol
45 degrees? wouldn’t that go diagonally?
Yes.. Yes it does.
ohhhh fffffffuyuuuuy
now i get it, ur using the polygon tool. i’ve actually been meaning to experiment with the 4 side polygon shape but haven’t figured out why i would need to use it
what i do for my pixel stuff is just use a segment with equal length and width, but i guess this is more accurate… probably more difficult too, i’d assume…
I’d say it’s so much easier since I have 100% perfect squares and I wouldn’t have to make my own and see that it’s like a screen pixel off. Also I’ve never tried PixelArt like how you did but it’d find the Polygons to be so much easier to place around since it only costs ONE node and can be moved around with the “Flip X/Y Axis” thing.
oh yeah
final rebuttle: probably not as good for node conservation since you can eliminate a row of nodes if they all have the same color
I don’t mind coloring all of the pixels one by one lmao
…tho that’s just me
