@ralph I have an idea for a feature that’ll you say “no” to. My idea is for a copy for other side. For example you drag a line to have the middle of your figure so you can do one side, and it’ll copy to the other side. This can be used to make symmetrical objects. Like a top down of a car easier.

true but the point of this is to see the “fill figure” in real time and manipulate both halves simultaneously
just for convenience and ease of seeing the design
this is actually a good idea i toyed around with in my head a while ago
for simplicity sake the best way would be for user to select the “root” node (can have no children) and when you add a node to it, it adds a flipped node of the same length/etc on the other side
issues arise when you want to leave and come back into that mode, the app needs to verify that the figure hasn’t been tweaked and is still “mirrored” because if it’s been manually manipulated at all, this is no longer possible
