Just use invisibility potion and stand where the armour stand is.
Imagine the base troll where you’re just wearing the dude’s armour and pretending to be it.

I did this to my friends. I drank and invisible potion.
Stood in a random ass armor stand.
When they got close they will notice the weird placement of it and will break it.
Then I kill them.
Their reaction is the best.
Surprised there’s no pranks on this like that
