I decided to watch Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure again for 3 different reasons:

    1. Research purposes to aid me in creating my series and following similarly onto their art style and frame rate etc.

    2. I keep getting it recommended to me on Youtube again so why not just watch it.

    3. It’s something to watch when bored.

I am currently on Part 2 which is now my favourite part. The reason being is that Part 1 follows similar aspects. Part 2 is far more creative with what hamon can do and how characters interpret certain scenarios thoughtfully rather than Johnathan being a noble man and charging in. Parts 3 to 5 follow similar basis’ of stands and over all they keep to the same thing just with different stands and characters and throw in a few interesting things here and there. Which does surprisingly works well yet what separates Part 2 from 3 to 5 is like I said, how creative the story is with hamon and that the hero often wins by a small chance rather than punching their way put of it or using an ability.

    • i wanna rewatch early jojo because its been, what, 2-3 years now and it’d be like a whole new show to me

i kinda feel like as jojo goes on it gets a bit too ass-pull for me, like, moreso than it was at first which was bearable

eventually it just gets to a point where you, as a view, don’t understand how tf a stands power could have possibly resulted in XYZ but, whatever, it’s neat and resulted in a cool plotline so just go with it

If you watch it it’s likely that you’ll reference it a lot and take a big liking to it.

          Your choice.

You either watch it and it commits you to it or you don’t and you ignore it.

I think Jojo is extremely influential. The amount of fans it has racked up that are so set on following it is astounding and the fans only build each other up.

What I mean by this is say if someone were to say Jojo was gay which in most cases it looks like that and is occasionally, the fan would just palm them off without any restraint purely because other fans have met with the same problem and they share their experiences and in some ways are trying to say that non-jojo watchers just don’t understand that sort of thing.

In shorter terms the Jojo fanbase is truly astounding.

As for the series itself you’re right it just works somehow. It’s difficult to say why but what I think it comes down to is Community, The time it’s been around, that pressure to watch it and that the style and music is so unique and great.
