making a pretty basic WordPress site isn’t tough, definitely in the age of tutorials on Youtube etc, you can handle it

you have a domain, you can probably just use WordPress.com which handles the hosting/etc but i’ve personally never used it, I’ve only used custom WordPress installations
(its confusing, the difference, but I’d have to imagine WordPress.com would set it up for you and somewhere along the line you plug in your domain information)

that brings me back to my spam days of making small websites and, idk, i think my plan was to either sell them or put ads on them and just, make money

i never really got into it, i took a lot of notes and really researched it but never did – i only made one good site about the specific breed of cat I had at the time, all kinds of information (researched off of wikipedia etc, compiled into website-article format) – hit all the important keywords, do SEO (search engine optimization aka spam), etc, etc

that site did end up ranking in google really well, few hundred hits a day, couple bucks a day, etc

so its possible
def requires work and research
