police should always have guns imo because who knows what can they respond to. thing is they should also have proper training to know when and when not to use their gun
They often do. In the states they have a lot of nonlethal classes they train with
“Beanbag shotguns” 40mm grenade launchers with foam rounds. Not every department gets that luxury but it’s nice to see it change a lot.
