The only think that makes the animation look off is the stickfigure itself it only has one joint in it’s back for bending and it’s torso is thin anyway so it look jagged, if you were to user a thicker base or a base with more back joints, I think it would help significantly.

i think you just need a better keyframe/swish/smear to emphasize the leap/leaving the ground
