Gentlemen, I’ve come to vent about my fears. Ever since i was a little boy i was and still am scared of the dark, there could be something lurking in there…waiting to strike with no one helping me…i’ve since reduced this fear effects me but I’m still a little bit afraid. Time passes and i pick up arachnophobia..nothing much just afraid of spiders. But soon…i come face to face with my greatest fears. Gremlins, Critters, Eerie music, old scary commercials, and most frightening of all…my own Curiosity. I was afraid of gremlins and then i started to not be afraid when suddenly i was afraid again…I don’t know why…maybe it was the theme, their facial features, their night status, or their mutations. Then, i found Critters which were made by the same people who made gremlins. I was curious then found myself terribly terrified by Critters and its 4 sequels. I even had a dream where the Crites were real! Then i found…The Fly. I was once more interested then scared by this one scene from the original fly where theres a spider!…i had an eternal nightmare that night. Unable to wake up and because i had to sleep with my parents I wasn’t allowed to wake up early so i was in a nightmare of me in middle school forced to watch the fly…i was afraid. Very afraid….it seems my curiosity of horror films always gets me. End of story….for now.
