@ralph Another question about the animation thing. So I got the storyboard set up and let’s say. It’s pretty fucking dark and may be disturbing for some. So is there a point where it is too dark for the competition?

i guess the easy answer is, why so dark for a christmas video?
you should keep in mind that christmas was meant to be lighthearted and wholesome i guess
Well I want to take an approach no one looks at, Every Christmas a abnormal amount of people commit suicide cause of the feeling of lonely ness. So this video will be about a dude remembering his family and how happy they seem and how happy the world is while he is at rock bottom. Eventually he hangs himself. And then you see people crying at a funeral. Very dark but I want to make this as a way to bring more awareness to depression while having a Christmas-y theme
are you even sure youtube would allow that lol
I’ve seen darker shit. And there is an option to make sure the viewers can only watch if they are older than 18 and I can put a warning in the beginning. But I’m asking Ralph cause it’s his competition.
well, since i cant answer if its allowed since im not ralph ill just say maybe having a more kid friendly backup story is a good idea
no that’s fine, idk if this is what you have planned (probably not) but *technically* “Krampus” is Christmas-related, and that’s basically just…horror
lol
but yeah it’s fine, but it does need to be CHRISTMAS (or Holidays/New Years) related
it can’t just be like, a grim story that takes place and it just so happens to be Christmas time or something
ps < 2 minutes absolute max
i’ll probably be making the post about it tonight
Alright. I guess I’ll do a grim story of Krampus.
wait less than or more than? crap i forgot
Less then 2 is max
< is like a L but a bit folded
