Imagine making 35,000+ hand drawn drawings that are detailed for just ONE episode. Not only that after drawing it they have to get it on a computer and color it and go through every single frame. and also make those VERY detailed backgrounds. That don’t include the voice acting. The legal stuff to have it appear on TV. Then managing merch. Using 3D models are MUCH cheaper than doing actual hand drawn anime. These people work 12+ hour shits every day so I say we give them a break on it.
I know, WIT studios did this and got positive results,
the new animation studio MAPPA instead used 3D models, which I personally don’t like, (3D isn’t hand drawn, its easier than 2D) meaning they do less work lmao, I know, obviously its still kinda just as hard, but I prefer the 2D, as its way more visually pleasing,
The intro is amazing though, (the song, the animation is very pleasing either since its mostly just a bunch of smoke and explosions lol)
