Dumb comic thing

BootLegged Lore:

I might try turning BootLegged into little comic panels or whatever, but basically the story I had so far was that the owner of a company that sells boots had IG on their shelves, when IG escaped with Sseugetinifni (they were the rarest boots in stock) the “Boss” sent Peri to retrieve the boots, after she changes her mind and decides to help IG, but IG is ruining his company so bad by taking his boots behind Peri’s back that he plots to hunt them down and take back what was rightfully his. The whole joke is that the supposed bad guy is actually just an innocent dude trying to save his company.

He was also born with very small legs.

Apologies if this sucks, I am not the best when it comes to storytelling and am slightly uncreative so forgive me for my mediocre writing skills. This is going to be a bit long so I hope you like reading.

Peri is born, her mother dies when she is young, fatherless and now motherless child gets put in a boarding school at the age of 14. She gets bullied by the daughter of one of the staff workers. Let’s call this character that will probably never be named “Jane” as a placeholder because it’s the most basic name I could think of.

“Jane” makes fun of Peri because that’s her way of coping with the recent divorce her mother went through. But after weeks of doing so, it just became a bad habit of hers, Peri was confused about why she was being targeted and became quickly agitated with Jane. She then got a new reason to hate her because her mother started to treat Peri like her own child. Jane became much more envious of Peri, treating her worse than before. Peri went from being teased to being verbally abused. Jane would do all of this behind her mother’s back, being two-faced and acting differently in front of her. But Jane’s mother, being oblivious to the situation, told Jane that she was thinking of adopting Peri. Infuriated and most likely jealous, Jane plotted to aggravate Peri, thus causing Jane’s mother to rethink her decision.

Jane proceeds to steal a picture frame from Peri’s room while she’s out, that picture frame happens to contain the last picture of Peri’s mother. When Peri returns to her room, she notices that the photograph of her mother has gone missing. She immediately suspects that Jane took it and leaves the room to search for her. Jane had taken the picture out of the frame and taken it with her for recreation in the school’s courtyard. Peri confronts Jane, she asks where the picture went, and Jane pulls it out of her pocket and does the cliche “Oh you mean this?”

Peri tries to take it back, but gets pushed aside and teased about how her mother is gone, Jane then begins to slightly rip the picture, trying to get Peri to attempt to get physical so that she can use that against her. Peri tries to maintain herself but Jane takes it too far and rips the photo in half.

“Oops.”

Clenching her fists, Peri yells in a fit of rage. Seconds later, wailing can be heard. Peri looks up to see that Jane’s hand has been contorted into an unnatural state. She is paralyzed in fear as Jane is shouting in pain. Everyone else in the courtyard was startled by the screaming and saw that Jane’s hand had been broken. Peri was shocked, she didn’t know what to do or how she caused this to happen.

After that Peri was put into Juvenile Detention, and Jane’s mother ended up not adopting Peri after Jane explained what happened on their way to the hospital. Jane, still in pain, was confused. Peri never took a step forward, but somehow her hand ended up being damaged. All Jane could recall was a faint purple glow, and then the cracking of bones. More importantly, she didn’t think a broken hand was worth Peri not getting adopted.

Peri on the other hand was just as confused. She didn’t move an inch, she only thought about what she wanted to do, but she didn’t actually want to break Jane’s hand, she just wanted to make her feel how she felt. Oh well, it was too late to do anything about it now, she got what she deserved and that was the end of it. After spending some time in Juvenile Detention, Peri began noticing objects she looked at would move by themselves. She thought she was just seeing things, but the more she would focus on the object, the more it would become apparent that they aren’t moving by themselves, Peri was moving them. She came to the conclusion that her confrontation with Jane evoked this strange ability.

After her time in Juvenile Detention, she was sent to a different boarding school, since the previous one didn’t want to deal with Peri’s little “incident”. Peri was mostly avoided since word got around pretty quickly about what happened, but this didn’t really bother Peri, she was more focused on her new ability to interact with things without physically touching them. As she grew, so did her power; by the time Peri was 16 she could easily lift up objects such as bottles, books, and chairs, she could open doors without needing to physically push or pull a handle, and she could even press buttons just by looking at them.

After she finished school she now had to live on her own. So she started working at retail stores to earn some money. After working for a considerable amount of time, she managed to save up enough money to live in a small apartment.

(Now for some ideas/trivia stuff)

The Boot Bandit

IG and SE find a very comfortable roof to store the boots they steal- I mean borrow because he thinks that if the boots were sentient like him, they would want to leave too. JD is now recovering in the hospital, so we cut to a scene of the boss (he\’s a stereotypical big bald guy in a suit but red) discussing with an unknown character, wanting to have “The Boot Bandit\’\’ brought to him, as well as SE. Then we cut back to the protags, but this time they are experimenting with the fabricators on IG. He touches some electrical wires close to the roof, and they absorb the electricity, he then sends it back out which just releases the energy into the air. SE begins to understand how it works, IG absorbs some more electrical energy and passes it onto SE, which works and now it can release it too. Cut to (Anonymous) investigating the old locations, then he comes across WurstMayers, and starts interrogating the seller or whatever you call them. (Anonymous) asks if they’ve seen a green man with a boot, and if they know where he went. After that (Anonymous) finds a building wall that\’s been recently damaged, probably from the car crash. Cut back protags, and IG and SE are still messing around with the fabricators, but then IG accidentally knocked a boot over and it fell over the side of the building. IG panics and jumps off the roof to get the boot. Cut back to (Anonymous) walking when they notice IG falling into a dumpster, then, the confrontation happens, (Anonymous) is revealed, and the funny occurs. Dumpster starts sliding with a purple glow and hits IG, he drops the boot, (Anonymous) picks it up, but its not SE, she looks back to see IG is gone, he is running away, but now we see that she is telekinetic, and IG gets slammed into a wall, she questions him but IG absorbs the telekinetic energy and releases it, creating a small shockwave, causing the woman, know known as Peri, to fall over. IG flees and she follows, chase scene ensues. IG attempts to get back up the building but Peri throws him into some cars. He’s like “What do you want from me!!1?1!?” and Peri’s like, “WHERE ARE THEY (the boots)” and IG realizes that they are trying to get SG, so he books it

Then it ends there, looks like I didn\’t finish it lol

Anyways, I\’m gonna be writing about Peri\’s backstory next, so yeah uhhh how do I end this

2022 vs 2020
Quick little exposé, I had an old OC named Lilith, she was supposed to be the badass female lead for an old series I had made called dominodes, which was basically just a jojo ripoff with some differences. However, Peri was technically meant to be the same thing for BootLegged.

Peri and Lilith are technically the same concept for an OC, and they even look the same (not on purpose). Long coat, black and white shoes, solid color shirt, and even have supernatural abilities.

Do what you want with this information, just thought it was neat how similar they are. However I do think Peri is better because she actually has backstory and is much more fleshed out, just need to write it out sjwbisjs

Important Announcement 2/2

This group is being repurposed, for OC stuff, and maybe posting finished remakes who knows. But basically, Bootlegged is becoming a side thing where I explain my OCs, who they are, what they do yada yada

So yeah, I\’m doing OC remakes again, back to doing what I like. (If you want a remake leave image of your OC in the comments, I\’m only gonna choose maybe 2 this time)

Anyways here are some ideas I had for Bootlegged that will never get animated or seen.

IG would create would find a polyfill, use the fabricators to make a Poly-Boot, but ultimately creates The Polyfill, the funny man-eating monster thing I made up.

Peri and IG were going to fight for the boots in the second half of episode 2, and then become friends after JoJo-style.

Peri introduces human stuff to IG, one episode being they would\’ve gone to a mall, only for IG to get lost in the mall as Peri were to fight the dudes who are trying to take the IG and SE (Sseugetinifni)

One joke was that IG would have discovered what an escalator was and would\’ve rode it up and down like an attraction, all while Peri was fighting.

Another joke was that
*Love interest walks past hot dog stand*
*Andie sees love interest*
*Hot dog cart handle straightens or \”goes stiff\”*

Lane would\’ve been a side character, with his own episode or whatever

Peri would\’ve explained her backstory to IG in one episode

There was gonna be an antagonist that could shape-shift

Red balding dude from the first half of the second episode was the boss mentioned in episode one. He would\’ve had big buff body guards, because his design is just a dude in a suit, but with really short legs.

So I was thinking about the old hair, some made me consider it since it’s more unique, so idk if I’ll use the new one, plus I now that I think about it, it’s less recognizable than the old hair.

So I might just use the new body, last time I saw the poll it was a tie so (It’s 55 to 45 now but whatever)
