Welcome, I’ll do random things here, updates, series, remakes, etc. Not much to say, it’s pretty simple.

Nick Bassius 2.0Here it is, the finished version. I went for a messy bun instead of a ponytail, and I kinda like it better. While I was at it, I also recreated a very important photo that will be in the series later on. Anyway, Nick is 5β11, while Max is 5β6. This time around I actually made an effort to change the facial structure and body proportions. Oh, and Iβll make his double daggers later, thereβs food and I must eat it.

WIP of Nick Bassius 2.0. Trying to reflect his vibrant and lively personality in his outfit.

Future Weaponry Plan(s)Given Max’s usual flare, I’m to make it obvious that his weapons are meant to mirror just that. For example, his explosive Herald of War, a great-sword with a built-in motor for devastating swings. Or a pencil. Anyway, I’ve been running a little dry on clever ideas, but asked one of my closest friends whom I love dearly, and he promptly came up with this:
The sword resembles the one in the picture, but can split vertically to make to thinner, one-hooked blades. Imbued with magic from the town’s Shaman (who puts magic on all his other weapons), the split can be done manually or remotely via chant. This split is extremely forceful, and can dislocate the average human’s shoulders if gripping the sword(s) while they split. It must be used carefully, unless you’re bold enough like Max to use the force as a weapon. One instance of this includes splitting the sword after the conjoined blade has been shoved into one’s chest. I’ll let your imagination fill in the rest.

Small Update, and Ignoring Recent EventsI’m not sure anyone noticed, but I haven’t touched or talked about anything animation-related in a while. Hopefully, that’s done now. If everything I’m dealing with is over like I think, I can get back to stuff. I’m going to start making a bunch of plants from Grodot; flowers, fruits, trees, backgrounds (maybe), etc.
But I’m also uncertain. I’m trying to ignore it, and I want to believe it’s a simple issue I can push away but the more I think about it the less I believe myself. Making one stickfigure at my current skill level takes ages, and drains me completely. I won’t go into it that much but it feels like sometime at the beginning of this year, I lost all energy to do anything. It sucks, but like most of my problems I’m ignoring it. Anyway, I realize that I have to:
1. Make the figure
2. Make Front/Back angles
3a. Make Outfits for them
3b. Repeat #2 for other outfits (Ouch)For example, I plan to have 3+ outfits for Max. So that’s about 9 figures I have to make, for one character. Doing this for every character? No, I don’t know if I can manage that. I want to hide behind my usual routine of trying to reevaluate my style then pretending to like it for a while before I give up on that, but that’s gotta stop. I do need to get rid of the rust though, so at least for animating small things I’ll continue using my current stuff.
I don’t want this to be too negative of a post, so here have a cat picture.

Lunaβs LongswordLegends speak of a noble warrior, the greatest of all in Grodot, called Luna. She was the first to break off a shard of the Supercrystal, pass The Test, and become an Arc Wielder. No one knows why, but her crystal did not cater to her battle style but remained in itβs purest form of Arc; a shimmering, colorful crystal that is extremely bright. Because of this, she was able to use Arc however she saw fit, creating weapons, blasts, healing waves, wings, creatures and more to aid her. Despite her Pure Arc, she was content using longsword with her crystal embedded in it, preferring the ways of old over this new and unbridled power. However, she still used Arc in her sword strikes.
Today, all that remains is a stone statue of her in Maxβs town center, with the real swordβthought to be lost in the sands of timeβin her grasp.
Note: there is no guarantee that Max will ever use this, I just gave it to him for displaying this sword. Also, @maawozβs remake is the only other figure I have done, so I hope youβre okay with me using your figure for this.I got a little lazy at the end of the animation -
