• Crossfire, a slow-firing but strong Auto Rifle. The bullets have been made to interact with Syfir’s UI in the helmet; whenever a target is hit, they will be outlined by a heat detector, allowing Syfir to know their location.

  • Syifr’s thicc bullets

    This must hurt lmao

    8
  • Those drones there aren’t the ones I’m talking about, but Felix has these flat drones with three panels on the front, used for ricocheting bullets off it, like this.

I think it’s important to mention none of their guns are energy guns, the colored trail is just for style, and if many people fire at once in a scene, you can tell who did what. Syfir can also charge his bullets with Umbral Aether, so there’s that.

    8
  • One of three guns Syfir uses, this hand cannon is called the Hornet.

    13
  • While Syfir here is the most skilled in combat of the 8, I kinda forgot that he’s at his true best is when he has a gun in his hand. So I changed his look a bit, all I did was

    1. Straightened hair, why not
    2. Added extra ammo
    3. Utility belt
    4. Changed to more of a blue-purple on glow things on his boots and helm, rather than violet
    5. I like biscuits
    6. Removed horns

Rather than his old air compressor boots, these are a new model that can channel his Umbral Aether without breaking, allowing him to make a surface of dense energy under his feet, so he can either skate or walk/run on air. Felix made these, with the help of Max’s intelligence with Aether (Felix is from the planet that contains Geos, but he doesn’t know how to use it.)

  • A Hunter’s weak spot is their stomach, where their heart is visible under the rib cage. If the ribs can be broken, the heart can then be accessed.

    7
  • Max if he still kept his OG look

Fun fact: Max’s hair was originally supposed to look this way, without the part hanging down. But, dude to my shitty skill back then, he ended up with that odd, triangular shape and I just sorta kept it because I didn’t feel like changing it.

  • Syfir has a helm, called the Helm of Despair. And no, the “despair” isn’t his enemies…

    11
  • While Felix is the smartest on the team strategically, Syfir is the best in combat. This, and generally being good friends, is why they work so well together.

    Also, armor.

    9
  • I gave up and just made the armor on the same figure as the body…but the nodes connecting them are stretchy so I guess it works out.

Although, I still prefer the look of only the armor glowing, not his whole body but eh…..

    4
  • Syfir will be a very complicated figure in terms of assembly.

In order to make the armor separate, so it can have filters independently and move freely, they need to be different figures. But, because of layering, this means I most likely have to make the back legs and arms separate, so when I add the armor on them it won’t be above the front legs.

    Damnit

    7
  • Every Aether wielder has a mark on their right eye, that’s formed after intense use of their powers. This is what the Umbral mark looks like

    But hey, Syfir’s face

    5
  • GUYS

    I did it

    I did his hair

    And it looks good

    Finally, holy shit

    7
    • I Feel and understand the joy of this.

      It indeed looks good.

I gotta say that you’ve improved a lot throughout your one year stay. Especially the figure posted 2 or 3 post back in this group. That figure is cleanly done.
      Think he’s called Xero

      • Replying to: ChallasI Feel and understand the joy of this. It indeed looks good

        Syfir, pronounced Cipher

But thank you, this took about a day lmao

This dude just used to be some random guy with a razor-rimmed hat

  • So I try to find inspiration for Syfir’s hair, long but slicked back at the front, and for some fucking reason google thinks this shit is considered “long”

    Bitch I’ll show you long-

    2
  • The Weapon of Destruction, Syfir

Before I get to the rest, I debated keeping the name Xero, which I believe is an actual name. But after looking around, the word “Cipher” also means zero, but is rarely used and seen more in literature. So I did a classic letter change and that’s how I got the name “Syfir”, but it’s pronounced like the word cipher.

Anyway, Syfir here comes from Scuron, the planet that contains Umbral. And by this, he uses this energy as a former mercenary, now member of the Crazy 8. Though he specializes in his duel hand cannons, the true threat Syfir poses comes from his armor. Yes, his armor.

Syfir’s armor is actually hardened Umbral energy, taking on a semblance of metal. It is attached to his purple bullet-proof suit, meaning it can be detached if he chooses. An often used move of his is charging the armor pieces, then shooting it out in a radial blast, causing targets to be hit by his armor, acting as shrapnel. The pieces can then return properly to their places on him.

Because his armor is just his energy, it can change form and be redirected to different parts of the body, such as a gauntlet on an arm or a sword attached to his hand. Even though using his Umbral for armor seems to be mostly defensive, his resourcefulness and senses in battle can turn a defensive energy into a destructive offense.

That was a lot, but yeah I’m working on him again finally.
