Progress, I suppose
So whenever I thought of how Lunar & Solar Aether would tie in with the whole series, and the story behind it, my brain automatically went to “yeah, I’ll think about it later when I have more characters made.” Well, now’s that time, I guess.

Grodot is just one of the 8 planets in the solar system EO. Grodot is like the Earth of EO, it’s just in the perfect spot for life. Humanoid life, that is. Grodotians are the closest species to humans in the solar system, but like all planets, they are tied to their sun, Solus. This sun is pure white, and has magical qualities no one can seem to understand. The sun gave 8 forms of life force, for each planet. These were:

1. Solar, Fire Energy
2. Lunar, Moon Energy
3. Geos, Earth/Life Energy
4. Aeros, Air Energy
5. Aquos, Water Energy
6. Cryos, Ice Energy
7. Luminos, Light Energy
8. Umbral, Dark Energy

I’ll go into these planets later, but to give you an idea for their powers, each of the Crazy 8 come from one of these 8 planets, hence the 8 in Crazy 8. They are the sworn protectors of the solar system, their homes, and everyone on them.

Despite being from a planet that carries these powers, one (if strong enough) can wield two of these powers, but they must learn the ways of not only the power itself, but the planet. They must listen, and it will speak. Some suspect it’s the gods that speak to them, others believe it’s the manifestation of the Aether that speaks, but no matter what, no one has spoken of what the voice says. They must learn themselves.

One Year Later…

Well, it’s really been exactly 365 days since I first made this account at around 5:14 on July 11, 2021 and all I can say to that is what a ride. It’s only been a year, and yet it’s felt like an eternity here. So many memories, times both good and bad, yet so much to learn from. And so with a heavy heart I want to wish you all goodbye. After one whole year, I think I’m going to put animation down for good this time. See ya.

…Yeah right. Like I’d ever do that. You are all stuck with me for as long as I want. Even though I’ve been here for a small amount of time compared to some of y’all old goons, from to the multiple times (and the reasons for them) I’ve taken breaks and thought about leaving or quitting or junk, it surprised me I lasted past 6 months. And some of you made being here feel better, so I’ll give those people a little thank you, in the form it satirical comments. Sorry if I forget some of y’all, little busy as I’m typing this. Please note these aren’t insults, no drama today please.

Tried some different things with the Hunter, personally I like how this creature came out. Also, I was thinking, it wouldn’t be as important or lengthy, maybe like pictures rather than Max popping in, talking, showing you a paper, etc

But should I bring back that one group where Max has archives of Grodot’s creatures?

Does the size of a planet affect the rotation speed, and by extension the day length? (Grodot is about twice the size of Earth).

Also, rather than 50% Sun, 50% moon like Earth, it’s more like 80% night, 20% day. How would that work, if it even can? If not I’ll just leave it as something magic or smth
