As well as the 8bit health bars, video game style will be conveyed through their move sets. Each character has a max of 5 Specials, and 2 Ultimates. When they use a Special, a scene like below will occur. Ultimate scenes will be more dramatic and stuff, not sure how to go about that yet.

Replying to:There is some truth to what he’s saying, maybe integrate chords like Tank said, and bring in some hihats for the beat. A good way to give off the vibe you want in this is to delay the snare and use multiple, in a jazzier style. A little variation and personality in the beat and notes can improve the whole aesthetic.

I might regret this…
I\’m going to start working on Grodot more, what it looked like, backgrounds, lore, religion, etc. Here is some pre-knowledge:
Grodot, a rocky planet about 2 times the size of the earth. It used to have 9 moons, but after constant wars in the space around it, 3 remain. As a result, a thin ring of debris floats around the planet, think Saturn.
As far as life/population, like Earth. Plantlife is more abundant, whole cities being smothered by vines with fruits and flowers. The water (and as a result the sky) is a bit more green.

you know I actually debated with myself on how I can implement different users in Grodot subtly. These include a whole jungle of living fruits like oranges and bananas.
