Creature Diary
All over the world, starting from the mid to late 1800’s, there have been stories of beasts and monsters that specifically affect and attack children. These beasts or Creatures are a part of a world full of monsters and cryptids. Ranging from the Lochness monster to the infamous Boogey Man. The Creature diary was first started in 1937 by a child in England after noticing a creature that somehow, his parent’s could not see. This was the first record of a type of creature known as the “imaginary fiend” unlike “imaginary friends” these creatures had malicious intentions.

This project started a while back but I decided it would be perfect for me to ease back into Sticknodes and animation using the lore I’ve built up and the support from the community on adding to the mythos.
Note: This is a community based project and anyone can write an entry here and possibly have it featured in an episode

The Creature Diary is set in a universe where fears come to life. These “Creatures” are written about and catelogued by brave observers. However, over time one can lose the ability to perceive these entities. But when you gaze into the abyss it often stares back.

What\’s in the Box?

Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night. But I wasn\’t at home, I was in this dingy room with moldy and tattered wallpaper. It smelt horrible and I wasn\’t myself, not anymore. ~J
In the mid to late 1960\’s there were reports of many children in neighborhoods in the US experiencing vivid nightmares. These \’nightmares\’ involved the children being transformed into formless gray masses inside of what appeared to be a gift box. The children would then be met with the sight of a giant gray hand slowly contorting and making gestures at them. However, the expectation was for the kids to gather they clumps of goopy flesh and slowly imitate the forms made by the hand.

Jack watched silently as the hand formed the next gesture. He wanted to scream out in terror but his fleshy gray mass had no mouth. He watched as the hand got closer and closer slowly looming over him. He felt so small. He started to give in and play the hand\’s game. But his pride got the better of him. On the next shape, instead of following the hand, the teen formed his gray tendrils into the shape of a middle finger. Unfortunately the hand understood this gesture and got visibly agitated. In an instant the scenery changed around Jack, they were now in some kind of graveyard. The sky was pitch black and there were towering piles of powdered gray material everywhere. Jack was cornered by the hand. In that moment the hand became more grotesque its fingers looking more like tree branches. It multiplied. Screaming silently with the power of a freight train. The hands begin to lift Jack out of the box–A bell rings, and then it was done.
Other than emotional distress, nothing substantial had happened as a result of these instances. Just another case of mass hysteria. But the victims can\’t help but wonder what would happen if they had gotten out of the box? So far there have been no more reports of this phenomenon and knowledge of THE HAND is starting to fade from memory.

The whisper is a Oni looking type creature (at least at its end form) At first it looks like a little cuddly deer who whispers you some good stuff like the Winning tickets for class events and stuff. But it eventually turns it into twisted commands, It tells you to kill your parents and it manipulates you
It can take over your body, Kids with weak will or weak minds will easily get controlled by it. -
Going to officially re-open this group pretty soon and get back to posting new content as well as continuing the storyline that I built up. And this also gives me some content to post while everyone\’s waiting on KIN. So yeah expect more frequent updates here and also reminding everyone that anyone can post stuff here there\’s no real over arcing story so post whatever you want. Diary Entry\\\\2A blocky, sleek, and maroon colored humanoid that just wants to mess with you. It was discovered in Vietnam given the nickname Hồng Ngọc, or Rubix. It was seen tampering with the walls and breaking holes into the floor. Apparently another sighting was reported in England (not the british) after a 19 yr old almost fell through his carpet in a hotel. Despite messing with you, it is vulnerable to literally anything.

Discovery date: June 30th, 1987
Creature type: irrational

This thing is the first level 9 to be discovered, on June 30, 1987 the police department was getting calls about a strange tall man watching families. One call this thing broke the window in a house where a older sister and a younger brother were home alone. Yells were heard over the phone. The only audible words were to the dispatcher “I smell your fear” “your two daughters are not safe” one victim happened to survive said “his face was like a white mask but it wasn’t a mask it was his own flesh he kept quoting the devil saying “Let the devil take your soul!” This anomaly is to be avoided if possible if you can’t avoid it make sure your well armed with others. -Mr E. Here’s all the creature types/classes:
1. Illusory-Creatures that are not physically real; you can’t interact with them but they can interact with you on a mental and physical level, they can also be misleading.
2.Atmospheric-Causes strong feelings, often of intense fear or anxiety, but do not physically harm or injure any people the creature may come in contact with.
3.Reclusive-Creatures in this classification are often alone or reside by themselves, if one should ever meet a creature or object that is reclusive;
Do NOT look them in the eye, they may have possessive properties as well
Calm yourself, if you feel a strong sense of anxiety, dread, or impending doom that was not there before, close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths
If it is an object DO NOT bring it home, try to return it to its exact location if possible.
DO NOT acknowledge the creature’s presence if it senses you.
4. Possessive-Creatures or objects that may control the mind or body of affected individuals.
5.Nuetral- Creatures that have no ill will and will not cause harm to anyone, on purpose or un provoked.
6.Irrational- These are creatures that operate in unexplainable ways that cause them to be very unpredictable.
7. Occult-Creatures or objects either used as a part of strange rituals or a product of a ritual.
8.Gentle- Creatures that are friendly towards humans
There are 10 threat levels:
0=This creature is safe and cannot physically or mentally harm you
1= This creature can cause minimal damage but, is not a long term threat
2=Can cause slight bodily harm in the form of cuts, rashes , bruises etc. With faint or nonexistent mental threats
3=Causes minor long term injuries such as, poisoning or scarring with slight mental affects
4=Causes trauma in the form of deep wounds and blood loss. Can also lead to mental illness though it is not too common
5=Can easily remove limbs and causes significant mental scarring
6= Encounters are deadly
7= Creatures often end up killing dozens and must be warded off using some sort of magic barrier
8= Can kill hundreds and can have a mental effect on an entire town. Must be sealed away, usually in the form of objects.
9=???(creatures on this level have yet to be documented)

This bloke is seen randomly in the Australian outback wandering naked with nothing but a blue hood. Not even a sweater, just the hood.
Reports say he/it wanders around with no clear purpose randomly attacking kangaroos and kangaroo-shaped shrubbery.
It is said approaching the him/it while addressing him/it as “oi m8” will lull him/it into a false sense of calm allowing you to take selfies.
Wreaks of vegemite.
The fact the diary entry is 420 implies that there have been 419 other entries related to Sean, the vegemite crusader, truely the most interesting creature in the diary
