Exiled is a series of animations Iβve been working on, which follows Lucky, a void-cursed Valkyrian.
Plot summary being rewritten, check back soon.
Here I post updates on the story, short test animations, figures, lore dumps, etc.
Episodes:
Currently going through an overhaul. I would prefer to start on stuff thatβs more fun for now, and not exactly canon.

Probably the final design for the new character, Hydro. Heβs an Aquai adventurer, and has lead a pretty successful life of exploring the ground world discovering the many hidden treasures within. He has a lust for adventure and treasure.
All thatβs left now is to make his essence sword, which has a nasty ability to shoot razor sharp jets of water with each slash.
Also, functioning jacket. Nice.

We need filters in creation mode asap
This looks really good btw, I tried the game a while back and you did well making stick versions of them, good job 😳

Haha thanks dude. Iβm trying to adapt Lucky to shy away from the game to fit in this series, and the Valkyries in this series are edited off of him as a base. Glad you liked it.

This might be Zens essence mode, might add a bit more spice to it.
Zen is a Delthul and Valkyrie hybrid, so his Delthul blood made his essence, and his Valkyrie blood made his body. Since his essence is primarily Delthul based, him channeling his essence mode results in physical changes that makes him appear more Delthul like (no hands, or feet, multiple arms, no mouth, 6 eyes)
He actually canβt use his wings in his essence mode (wings get too deformed,) but can still fly with his gravity essence via levitation.

Description for Lucky: Essence Mode.
This is Luckyβs essence mode. An essence mode is when one concentrates their essence to such a degree, that it not only powers their essence up and makes it easier to use, but can physically change the user for a short time.
Essence modes are usually manifested in times of extreme stress, like when theyβre near death, or in extreme rage. The only discovered mortal who can use an essence mode without these conditions is Jolstus.

Concept panel for the Mint Forest. An eerily quiet, misty forest, that harbors zero animal life, despite being big and full of plants.
The only creatures that live there are Kijolers, which are small bipedal creatures with impossibly long arms. Theyβre quite rare, but will easily rip you apart and drag your corpse back to their dens if you arenβt cautious. Resting here is risky, caves, trees, etc are easily reachable by the Kijolers.
Just donβt stick around to give them a high five and youβll be fine.

the fire loop is still weird

Everything is weird… Like how am I not dead yet?

You REALLY should up the brightness and contrast in this. It’s hard to even see the thing even with max screen brightness.
In a night like that, moon always illuminates ground a bit, but also fire and objects around it would be bright like a flare in the darkness

The scene is supposed to get gradually brighter near the fire, but yea, it is a little too dark.

First pannel of the series, shown after the opening stuff. This place is the wasteland, a long stretch of land with lost settlements. Even during the day, the wastelands are a highly demoralizing place.
Lucky starts here, and then ventures to different places such as the mint forest, plains of the golems, etc.
