This is a competition that tests the weapon-making skills of the SN Community.
Description
Users will be given a weapon to create, and they will have 10 days to make it. There will most likely be a total of 5 weapons this year. Our judges (Biscuit, Warlock, and InfiniteGuess) will base their scores on:
– Accuracy to Weapon / 10
– Weapon’s Functionality / 10
– Design and Style Points / 10
Rules
Next are the rules that must be followed while making the weapons and in the group as a whole.
1. Please make the weapon that was listed, not whatever you decide is right. Doing so will drop your weapon’s score to 0.
2. Lack of completion before the week results in no points.
3. One stick-figure per weapon. Accessories like sheaths are excluded from this and can be made separate.
4. Only stickfigures! This is not a test of one’s drawing or art skills, this is a test of their figure-making skills. Sprites will NOT be allowed, sorry.

If you submit your figures to the stick page, we would appreciate it if the submission name started with “FC23”.

Possible ChangesDue to time and schedules, it’s possible I may post all the weapons, and let everyone complete them on their own. No week deadline, no time limit (well preferably before December please), because I do understand that some of you either can’t keep up with the deadline or have other things in life so I apologize for that, I should’ve gave more time instead of just a week.They will still be scored, just as they are posted.
For now I’m not entirely sure where this is going, or even if I want to continue.

Whatever the case may be it has been fun to see what kind of community-based collaborations and contests we can hold.
Maybe in the future we can add some community-based badges for these contests, we’ll have to see.
You could extend the deadline to September or just call it off now and see who won the first week.

I should’ve seen this coming, with school and jobs and such but I imagine there will be less time for this and less people doing these, so I’m not entirely sure where the status of this competition stands but I know it’s not their fault.

Second Week: August 22 - August 28
I should’ve done this yesterday, but I was busy and so here we are. Unfortunately some of you can no longer participate as you didn’t complete your first week. The mentions at the bottom are of those who did.Weapon
This weeks weapon gets a little harder. This week you all will be making a short-handled Battle Axe. A battle axe is an axe specifically designed for combat. Battle axes were specialized versions of utility axes. Many were suitable for use in one hand, while others were larger and were deployed two-handed.Requirements
This time, there will be a theme I ask you to follow: Demonic. The weapon needs to make it blatantly obvious it was made and used by a demon of some kind.Now, it can’t be an existing weapon from these worlds but I will accept if the demonic theme is from a fictional world like Doom, Devil May Cry, etc.

Here’s my entry, the long sword and it’s sheath.
I went for more of an ancient elemental or magic sword so I tried to add a stony texture along with some runes etc.
Sheath – 138 Nodes
Sword – 290 Nodes
The sword is accurately measured to 3ft or around 90 something cms, I thought I’d make that accurate to the sword’s actual size parameters since visually the sword may not meet the requirements.
The blade can rotate and attach at the hand of the Stickfigure. The sheath can move up or down to come off or on whilst still able to be attached to the sword itself.
It’s been a lot of fun working on this and I’m looking forward to next week’s sword.
