  • I wanna put this to rest, I’ve been remembering it for years and I can’t remember when or what it was actually.

So sometime back in 2013-2015 summertime, I was with my dad in his 02 accord in fort worth and I saw some clouds Rollin in over a tree in a neighborhood. And roughly an hour later it was coming down like the heavens had diarrhea. If it helps I got some extra info, I-635 was bumper to bumper when the rain was coming down hard, also my dad said they said on the radio (96.3 FM) That there was a tornado? (A few years after it all went down)

Hehe, I’ll bet i-635 is still bumper to bumper on that same spot to this day.

    • I’ll go on Tornado Archive and see what I can find

All I can find within that time-frame is an EF-0

    Tornado Mini-sodes 2:

    Da Movies

Watched Twisters (the new one) in theaters today and man

The CGI for the Tornadoes were cool,
Won\’t give much spoilers here (for now)

But yeah, overall I give Twisters a 8/10

If you feel it, Chase it

  • Tornado Mini-sodes: The Dead-man Walking (I couldn’t get Storm chasers done so I’ll do it next week possibly)

    The Dead-man Walking is a Phenomenon created when a Multi-vortex Tornado’s sub-vortices form a Human-like figure

    Observed in the 1974 Xenia Ohio F5, 1997 Jerell Texas F5, 2011 Cullman EF4, 2011 Joplin EF5, and the 2013 El Reno EF3

  • Today’s Subject: Infamous Tornadoes (note that there are some darker themes in this post, specifically at Joplin and Jerell)

    1999 Bridgecreek- Moore F5

May 3rd.. a day that seems normal to most of yall, but to the Residents of Bridgecreek and Moore, it’s the day where the most Powerful tornado in recorded history struck,

The 1999 Bridgecreek – Moore F5 is interesting due to it having LITERALLY THE HIGHEST WINDSPEEDS EVER RECORDED! And because it looks like an actual monster

    Joplin 2011:

A few days after the Devastating 2011 super-outbreak, mother nature wasn’t done with her wrath

And one day.. it started, a Tornado appears near Joplin, making its way towards the city.

Destroying everything in its path, and once it reaches joplin.. it’s just absolutely devastating, Hospitals were destroyed, schools were destroyed, over 100 fatalities, hundreds of homes swept completely off their foundation.
It’s just tragic, even Expert tornado enthusiasts were shocked by the devastation which was on the same level as the Super-outbreak

    It was a Multi-vortex Rainwrapped EF5-rated Tornado

    Jerell 1997:

Just a regular day in 1997, people are at work as usual, busy traffic and a calm day in Jerell Texas until

A small Rope tornado forms near the town, and quickly it strengthens to a Multi-vortex F5-strength Monster, as it entered the Double-creek estates Subdivison of Jerell.. it stalled

It stalled over the Double-creek estates.. which caused more devastation then it would of caused normally.. the entire subdivision.. gone.. nothing left except the foundation.. and mangled corpses of vehicles… and people

And it’s also where the Infamous “Dead-man Walking” tornado photo comes from.

    So neat but also tragic.

    Tornadoes seen below:
    Jerell 1997 (Dead man walking)
    Joplin 2011 (God that’s horrifying)

(I’m not glorifying Any of the events, this is all for educational purposes)
