❔ What is the Site Log? ❔

The Site Log serves as a news outlet for the Stick Nodes ( SN ) website, each year a new group is created for the corresponding year. Each day on the SN website an entry is released by a set contributor, an entry would consist of linked posts from the day that stand out, animations, artwork, funny posts, interesting topics of discussion etc, also include some images of interest also and a headline and conclusion.

👑 Admin – Supervisor / Manager 👑

The Admin position is held by supervisors and managers, they hold the most authoritative position in the group and usually focus on managing it, reminding contributors for their entry’s on their set times, posting rotas and more pertaining to management and regulation of the group.

Any brother or sister groups or projects affiliated with the Site Log officially, affiliates help orchestrate theirs and any co-existing Site Log projects and groups. Without these guys we’d be left to our own devices, without co-operation we can’t expand and all parties are left in a trickier position.

Contributor’s are the ones who put together an entry for the site log, without them there would be no site log. The responsibilities of a contributor are set to the designated times they are expected to publish an entry, covering for other, management etc is not within the expectations of the role.

⭐️ Backup ⭐️

Backup is for missed entries, if ever there should be a time where a contributor cannot complete their entry, the predetermined backup of the day will stand in for them and complete an entry, either of equal quality or slightly less due to the unexpected and time-consuming nature of missed late entries.

To any staff team members who do not have as much time we can permit the chance to still work and be apart of the team but on a less regular basis, to qualify for this role it is required that the individual ask admin and also have already served time for the site log in the past

this role is exclusive to contributors and backup only.

Responsible for the face of the site log, the visuals of it outside of emoji usage etc, these users will have some high quality workings to showcase for the site log.

For anyone else who doesn’t have a staff role within the site log, this is what role you will have, unlike the other roles however there are no requirements beyond just joining the group and supporting the effort, even if that means by just liking posts, joining the groups etc. it means a lot and helps incentivise all of the staff members at the site log to work harder, better and to keep this going !

Whenever we introduce a new members to our staff team for the site log they will begin a training process in which they will typically have a few entries ( 2 to 5 ) before it’s officialised and they are truly a member of the team indefinitely. Training typically consists of making a few entries, implementing various techniques and more, however refinement of technique and style can be accomplished overtime.

➖ How do I become a team member?
➕ To become a member of the team you just need to mention a supervisor or manager ( Admin ) and let them know what you’re applying to, artist, contributor, backup etc.

➖ Will I be able to choose my days that I work?
➕ Absolutely, this is a voluntary effort and so as much leeway as we can offer is provided as to not harass our team for constant work with little rest and consideration to daily life and other plans. You would simply just need to speak to a member of admin about your shifts although chances are they would ask already upon your joining to the team as a 🌱 trainee 🌱

➖ Are there any requirements for staff member roles?
➕ Yes there are although they will typically be judged after a few trial entries or artwork has been made already rather than your standard job-application, trial shift, hired scheme.

➖ Is if possible to opt out of the site log as to not be included in any entries etc?
➕ There is but honestly there is little reason to since we’re a news outlet, relaying information not trying to capitalise on another’s work. Should you feel so inclined to not be featured in an entry ever, you may ask admin and we can consider your proposal.
