Star Sprites series

Hi there. :V I’m Star, and I wanna make a series.
I have had this story idea for years now and wanna get started! ^^ Star Sprites is a world where Magic was in the real world, coexisting with our reality. In history too. :V
The animation I’m making: It’s a type of journey. My character (StarLight) has a ancient gem known as “The Light Gem” that guides Star on a quest to become a true guardian of light. (He didn’t always have gloves, boots, and a mask.) Star first goes to the South Pole to find someone defending one of these artifacts. Star takes on the characters challenge to gain this artifact.
The problem is…. ^^” when it comes to backgrounds, I lack the means to make original backgrounds. And despite the improvements I made in animating, I’m still not great at certain things. =~=“ doesn’t mean I can’t animate it.

No, this isn’t a Collab, nor is there a deadline. =-= just wanna do something I’ve been delaying for nearly 3 years…
I’m tempted to write a story about this. =/
