Group for those geeks that are interested in modifying their UI skins and generally abusing sticknodes from the inside.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
HOW TO INSTALL SKINS:
◆ Create a folder called /skin/ in /Stick Nodes/ (or drop a folder called /skin/ into the Stick Nodes app files if on iOS, with iTunes)
◆ In it, place your modified textColors.txt and animationMenuAtlas.png – but place this PNG file in an appropriate sub folder /HD/ or /SD/
◆ (textColors.txt can be copied from internal app files, in the /assets/ folder)
◆ (animationMenuAtlas.png can be copied from internal app files, in the /assets/{HD or SD}/atlases/ folder – small devices only use SD assets folder)
◆ (How do you get into internal app files? Use an APK editor or find a link to download the files posted by someone online
So your folder should look like:
/skin/HD/animationMenuAtlas.png (the 1024×1024 one)
/skin/SD/animationMenuAtlas.png (the 512×512 one)
/skin/textColors.txt

The only person who is able to code here is Ralph himself. So if he refused a feature for the app it probably was ridiculous to code or useless. Meaning that we definitely won’t even be able to do them.

@ralph im like… seeing how u made the sprites more in depth and im starting to really despise you.
The way you made the tool window corners being inconsistent triggers me
Btw why are the sprites get so blurry lmfao. I never really thought about it but isn’t like… non blurry stretch less intense or smth?

i don’t know how many times i have to tell you but stick nodes is held together by tape, magic, and fairy dust
-
Replying to:
Yeah I get it lmfao. I’m both impressed and angered, anger mainly comes from with how inconsistently you botched the sprites so I need to develop new formulas to calculate these… Also OCD

4) 1: A more organized layout of the parts 2: an official tutorial 3: More skins on the official site (obvi u have like, no control over this but your do have a bunch of your own skins that aren’t submitted)-

I actually am the one in control of the skins site, it’s just got so busy with shits and the whole system sucking ass that I never got around to developing it further.
Would prob need to make a whole ass website from scratch with custom code and software for these things… Which is… You know. Lol.
Also regarding 2), there’s actually a guide thing which shows the borders of the sprites and you can even export with the borders and they won’t show up in the app itself. Just skins werent so mainstream that they kinda just… Never really showed up anywhere lol.
Also I guess ima get working on making skin guides at this point lmao. Planning both as quick videos and more in-depth Google doc pages.

Wheres the guide with borders
Can i have it because I’ve been trying to make skins
Also i need to ask, how do change the exporting animation?
-
Replying to:
its done similarly on how you do it normally but different atlas. Needed to snoop around my old project files a bit but here:

The export thing should be called exportingAnimationAtlas.png, i think its the current up-to-date one. Make sure to put it in the HD/SD folder.-

I edited the processing gif (the one of the default walking on the loading circle) to be a very wide version of explosive bullet that spun around. and then I gave it to explosive bullet. that’s about where my experience with custom skins ends
-
Replying to:
completely unrelated but now i wish for that black screen loading circle default to be replaced with big chungus on a very rare chance
