SNM Elena Redesign
Elena has been given a new redesign with an updated look and style. Other characters will also get the same treatment soon. The shirt shown here is just a quickly made placeholder, since the uniforms are also being redesigned.
I’d say its a nice direction for the SNM Project.
The redesigned Elena
The new update has made it a lot easier to navigate the UI and it has helped me by a ton, since I’ve been working on this on my mobile phone. So thanks Ralph!

SNM LENA | Lore & Relevance“Her eyes don’t flinch. Her voice doesn’t shake.” That’s what the recruits say about Lena.
She doesn’t speak much. When she joined the SNM (Sticknodes Military), nobody knew why she was so determined. Some believe she lost someone important. Others claim she fights demons for sport. She’s never confirmed either story, and that silence only fuels the rumors. Her demeanor is cold. Always serious. Always in a formal military stance with one arm behind her back. Even in the middle of a burning battlefield, she stands straight, her gaze locked forward.
Lena vs. Lilith Diana was a rivalry that became the talk of the entire SNM. They trained side by side for years, pushing each other harder than anyone else dared. Every drill, every mission, every sparring match was a test of precision and ruthless skill. Both sought to be Task Force leaders. Both had their eyes on the rank of Commander.
Then fate struck. Lilith Diana was exiled after a string of dark events. That put Lena next in line for command, but the promotion came with a shadow hanging over it.Her leadership style is methodical. She plans for every move, every angle, every possible failure. Her soldiers say she “sees the fight before it happens”. Fear never crosses her face, not because she’s reckless, but because she has already calculated the risk.
It was Lena who uncovered the truth about Lilith, catching her in the act of murdering an innocent civilian. Without hesitation, she brought the case to Ralph.
She once said: “I don’t enjoy turning on allies, but I enjoy letting murderers walk free even less.”
Despite Lilith’s crimes, Lena calls her a broken girl who lost herself chasing revenge. She admits Lilith once respected her skill, but now believes she sits at the top of Lilith’s murder list.
Even so, Lena hasn’t changed. She still trains at dawn, drills her soldiers until dusk, and leads with the same control, focus, and fearless precision that earned her place in the SNM.
Some call her fearless. Others call her inhuman, but one thing is sure: She is needed. -

SNM Kingston WIP
I’ve had this project on hold for a while and haven’t had a chance to finish it yet. Lately, I’ve been too busy to keep working on it. The images below were a quick draft I put together for Kingston to get his initial feedback before finalizing the product.
The images are a bit outdated. The bow is now bendable and has a spear function. It’s quite cool how it transforms. The arrow also now exist with different variations.I genuinely wish I had more time to continue working on the SNM project, but unfortunately, it’s still going to be on hold for a while

Been a while since I animated but probably pacing and timing.

i put something else because generally i tend to struggle with a couple things
…this entire list is a biggest challenge
but by far it would have to be keeping movements smooth and natural, and also implementing physics along with that
but i also cant do lighting or backgrounds so queoatpuqtupaqtp -
Everyone needs more MOTIVATION.

-
All of the above

I’d have to say a mix of physics, timing, and fluid natural motion. With cars and stuff like that im always thinking about what little motions can manipulate the car, like IRL if you where sitting in your car and you.. idk slammed your head into the wheel or sum, it would move the car a lil, depending on the cars size, weight, what gear the car is in ect ect. And I have to also watch out for inconsistencies in the suspension motion, like if I am animating with a 2015 camry sport, I will animate the suspension a little stiffer then that of say a 67 chevy impala, because suspension of old cars (60s chevy sedans, caddys, pontiac sedans ect) all had cloudy, soft pillow like suspension because that was what was luxury back then. Soft and comfortable, nowadays however, automobile suspension even in modern luxury cars (BMWs, mercs, caddys ect ect) suspension is stiff for “performance” and “handling” so I have to account for that in the anims I make.
Also load is a key factor, take a 90s regular cab 1500 pickup, any pickup rally, ford, dodge, chevy, they all have a slight racke to the front (which looks mean lol), this is so that when you load the bed, the truck is still even. In my anims, I try to pay attention to this. If a trucks bed is unloaded, it’ll be more stiff and bouncy then that of a truck with shit in the back. Just basic physics.
For characters it’s different, I learn the way a character acts from a show or movie or something and try to replicate that in my anim.
Take dean winchester, he has a distinctive thing he does with his Eyebrows, where when he’s angry, they look like a zigzag, but when he’s not angry, they are still kinda zigzagy but way less. Same with his mouth, eyes and body movement (I do this for every character I animate)
Idk though, it all feels weird in a way

they’re all great but stop motion has to be the biggest one for me
ive always loved watching movies like Nightmare Before Christmas or Caroline (still do) because they’re very unique and creative with their tools of the tradenot many movies do that anymore and its honestly really sad
stop motion has always been memorable for me in that way
Caroline is usually the base for all of my OC lore-

Sticknodes and 3d when I’m in the rare mood.
Mostly I just use sticknodes, it’s easier to put what I want into picture.

Question Regarding SNM
Many of you have already seen some SNM figures and whatnot. However, many of you are not familiar what it’s about and what potential “lore” to expect from the universe. This brings me to my question:
Would you genuinely read any lore I post here? Would you be interested? Is it something you would follow? Be absolutely honest! The poll is anonymous and honesty is appreciated!Would you follow/read SNM lore posts?

Lemon, I must confess, your belated entry into my group has left me feeling utterly disheartened and adrift. I’ve sailed the turbulent struggle of figure creating, weathering storms of doubt and uncertainty, all while clinging to the hope that my steadfast friend would stand by my side. Yet, as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, your absence weighed upon me like an anchor dragging me down into the depths of desolation. Oh, the countless nights I spent staring into the abyss, wondering if your support would ever grace this group. And now, as you finally step into the light of my group, my spirit feels as though it has been torn asunder, caught between the elation of your arrival and the anguish of your prolonged absence.
But fear not, Lemon, for though my heart may be fractured, it still beats with undying loyalty to our shared interests. Welcome, albeit belatedly, to this group of pure craftsmanship.
