Hello!
This is a group to monitor and share progress on my series called the intercept.
Here’s a brief synopsis on the setting of the series.
The intercept is a world stitching together different time periods and alien worlds. Groups of survivors from a myriad of eras are forced to cope with threats and environments completely alien to them. For example, a viking could be tossed into the intercept and come face to face with live prehistoric fauna that had been dead for millions of years. The point of this series is to create an interesting setting by blending old, new, and bizarre points of history.
TL;DR The Intercept is a realm composed of debris pulled through time rifts.
Feel free to offer ideas or feedback, I would appreciate it greatly.

Hello, i’m here to talk about my series primary inhuman antagonists called the Euraptors. The Euraptors are a group of large carnivorous alien creatures that spread across the land of the intercept. These things are the main source of danger of the Intercept, they act as the top of the foodchain in many regions. When things are flung into the intercept a massive swirling green vortex manifests in the sky before whatever was unlucky enough to be chosen to be entered is spewed out. Euraptors, no matter the subspecies, will always approach these drop phenomena in search of fresh prey to hunt. When not hunting Euraptors are often found landing in their nest at the heart of their territory. Their nests are constructed from valued scrap, often mangled cars although it varies depending on the region. This makes it a tempting but risky venture for desperate scavengers who might find something to trade with others. this is the exception however, most human communities wouldn’t dare provoke a resting Euraptor as they are nigh impossible to bring down with the usual implements and scarce ammo most have access to. Survivor groups tend to find it easier to vacate than stay in a region a Euraptor has claimed. The only groups safe from a Euraptor’s predation are those located underground or far above which i will detain in a later post.
