Fun fact:
In titanfall 2, The titan you call in at the end of the game to replace BT’s chassis, FT, is the same titan you call in during the training simulation at the start of the game -
If you ask me, I prefer titanfall 1 because you could make your own titan. Why didn’t they do that in the second one?

I was really annoyed about that too, but I guess it was a balance thing?
