“UNION CITY” is my novel that im working on, its been in development for 3 years or so and has undergone 5 rewrites (drafts) in the past 1 year, and its probably not going to release anytime soon
i like sharing what i work on so im making this to post any updates i have regarding stuff (but not revealing anything)
potentially, im considering setting up private beta-reading things where those who want to can apply to read a couple chapters and provide feedback on those when im ready for that
eventually ill use this group to post union city when its entirely finished so stay tuned? i guess? idk

i felt i should say this since the past few things ive posted have been in roblox:
i dont know how to draw, so i use roblox catalog avatar creator to make a lot of my designs as concepts, with small tweaks that ill change in the actual novel
which brings me to my next point, this is ONLY going to be a novel and MAYBE get a comic or animated adaptation thanks to my co-writer who actually has talent in the art fieldalong with that since im going to be pinning this:
this is not releasing ANY TIME SOON so dont get your hopes up for a release like. next month or something
this is going to take 2 or more years to complete because pretty soon im starting my first Ever year of school yay thats fun and then next year i want to get a job, ontop of that within the next year i want to work on some other plans that i will not be disclosing here, but i will be sharing when that happens
along with that i have adhd and suck at actually getting myself to do the things i want to do if its any slight bit difficult so writing even just half a page takes a lot to do personally
i might make a thing where i can publicly show off progress of like how far along i am with a chapter or something, but not show the contents of that chapter
if you really really really wanted to get behind the scenes info on what ive written down for a chapter or whatever then ill set up like a kofi or something where you can pay to get early access but thats only if you REALLY want it and if theres high enough demand because i.. dont know how i feel about sharing my work when its unfinishedok i think thats all, bye

im finally writing again!
the first half of my novels prologue has been completed, with the next half going to be shortly figured out soon
kind of a confusing endeavor that i cant really get into much but ya its been done and did and woo yaa yayyy!!
im excited to work on this some more finally again so ykokay i think thats all though, byee!

Hellooooooooooooooo everybody my name is markglfgombnndamn and welcome to union city the final draft
so basically im about to start writing again after a big rut period in the novles development
ive made some new character designs that are important, done stuff like that
i just need to study a bit of writing things and freshen up on that front and then ill be in the clear so updates will start rolling in again in relation to this project of mine

i want to model the entire city as well as the worldbuilding related stuff like stores, restaurants, vehicles, weapons, etcetera as well as the characters
ill probably be doing it in roblox studioi just because thats the medium im used to and after the fact ill be able to let people explore it
so when union city releases you get both a story as well as the city to explore maybeok thats all bye

Rather than entire drafts, you could do like ideas for different concepts, refine that and then string it all together. That’s what I’ve been doing for my SNU series projects over the years.
Then again, I haven’t released a single thing in like 3 years lol, so don’t take my advice. 😅

the drafts have been functioning less of like, full story drafts and more like a draft of the single chapter and then i end up scrapping it because i want to reword it and learn how to write

so ive been taking a small intermission for the past month or so because ive just been wanting a refresh
my last draft was generally fine, its getting better, but im a fairly unexperienced writer so im encountering a lot of road blocks (heh) and obstacles which end up being annoying to face
those are… mainly just being unknowledgable in how to write somy plan is that
im gonna take a small break for now just to refresh my mind and then next month or so im going to study a bit of writing stuffs and then ill start writing again
i plan to take an approach where instead of writing the whole thing and going back and editing, im going to edit with my co-writer as i go so that when its ready to be released, i can go back and make just a few smalle dits rather than making 12000 edits at onceagain im a very. very new writer so my approach might be a bit.. strange? to say the least? but im doing what i can in a way that works best for me and trying to
basically im trying to learn how to write without studying a full class worth of that if that makes sensegoing forward im gonna try not to give any more release dates since i think i said i was expecting like, 2026? 2027? but uh i still cant be so sure
im thinking 2027, 2028 at the EARLIEST. given the fact that i am bollocks at this shiti think thats all i have to say regarding that, so…….
