would be super fuccing hard to implement with 2d animation, because you would need to reanimate a moveset for a combination of cosmetics. unless you had a framework like rayman origins idk

that sounds rlly cool but it would be extremely hard because then you’d have to retrace every single movieclip for every single combination, i will implement something like this tho but just not in the game, sorry

So im gonna make it so theres an xp/level system.
You will start off by just having elemental stickmen, but as you gain more xp and level up, you will start oc\’s, the more powerful the more xp you needbut don\’t worry, there will be an account system and if you log in with your email, you will automatically unlock your oc

What do you mean with the βwith weaponβ attacks.
Is it gonna be like Brawlhalla where you pick up weapons that appear on the screen?-
β The attacks with weapons are optional, it depends on if your oc has a weapon or not. Or instead of a weapon it can be your ocβs power, if you have none just use punches and kicks etcβ

I think they should just change it to 4 attacks, (forward, down up, and neutral)
And 5 Ariel attacks(forward, back, up, down)
Itβs much simpler they way.

short answer, no
long answer, you can decide to have your oc’s weapon in their hand, or just when their about to do their attacks
example: my oc has his bow for his idle and run etc. but he only has his arrow when he does his attackor, like nubs said, it can be your oc’s power, or if they don’t have any of those they can just use their fists or whatever

Can we also make characters that are not ocβs/from other games
I wanna make a sans move set for some reason.
Donβt know how I would do that since I can\’t animate, but it wouldnβt hurt to get some ideas down.
Also I think for intros they should have a limit of 3 seconds. For like the 321 go.
But they should be fast and probably shorter in my opinion. -

Im gonna use Box2D for this stuff which is a unity plugin that makes stuff move with realistic physics
the bigger the mass, the less it moves

What about character gimmicks.
For ex, rage, certain moves unlocking, (Terryβs βgo sauceβ for example)
Special dodges, clouds limit meter thing, ect.
For some reason Iβm getting ideas for a move set for some kind of sans like character. But I canβt animate. -

i still cant get over how realistic you make your characters move
in the super op attack he nearly falls from such a big punch
and in this one when he punches the box you can see he shakes his hand because it hurt himvery well done
